Clackamas County Volunteer Indicted

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — A grand jury says a Clackamas County Elections volunteer is facing up to five years in prison and a $125,000 fine. After several ballots were changed right before the November election.

On Thursday, a Clackamas County grand jury says the woman should be charged with two counts of unlawfully altering a cast ballot, two counts of unlawfully voting more than once, and two counts of first-degree official misconduct.

The allegations surfaced two weeks before the national election during Oregon’s vote-by-mail election process.
