Children Go Back in Time at Fair

Farm StillNEAR CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Hundreds of people went back in time Saturday Hanley Farm for the Children’s Heritage Fair.

The event gives families a chance to do things the traditional way, like churn butter, make candles by hand, and milk a cow.

Kids could interact with heritage breed animals, like goats and chickens. There were also tours of gardens, music and old-time dancing.

More than 500 people attended the fair on Saturday. Money raised from admission helps fund educational activities put on by the historical society.
