A quick warm up today after a chilly start to the morning, a trend that will return tomorrow with some areas seeing fog and frost in the morning as well. Today most of the Rogue Valley stayed clear, but tomorrow we’ll see a better chance of more areas seeing fog. Sunny skies return in the afternoon until Friday when the next front moves through bringing more clouds and a chance for rain. Most rain will be at the coast but inland could see a few showers and the mountains have a chance for some rain/snow showers.
Heading into next week a stronger system pushes through bringing a better chance for heavier rain inland and snow in the mountains and possibly some sleet in the basin. Not only will precipitation return to the area, but windy conditions will start on Thursday and could linger through the start of next week along with much cooler temperatures. Some areas will be 10-15 degrees below normal by next week.
