CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Two people in the Rogue Valley will have the chance to hang out with Hollywood actress Betty White. This opportunity is through Dogs for the Deaf.
Organizers say when Betty was a guest of honor at the organization’s 35th anniversary in L.A., she came up with an idea to help the animals.
Betty set up a prize package to auction off; it includes two plane tickets to California, several nights at a hotel and VIP tickets to Calvalia, an acrobatic show, next to Betty herself.
“She is really spread thin but she does it from her heart. Its really neat to get a phone call with her idea to help dogs for the deaf and its not like we have to twist her arm or anything she comes up with this stuff,” said General Manager Vaughn Maurice.
