Record highs will be challenged this week due to a mid-Spring heat wave! A warming trend will continue into Thursday with temperatures climbing into the 90s for west side valleys and upper-70s for the coast and east side. Several locations will break records before the week is out due to high pressure building in ushering in this heat. You can see the record highs this week on my Facebook and Twitter pages.
By the weekend temperatures will drop back closer to normal and even slightly below normal into next week. Our next chance for showers will be Sunday, with showers increasing through the day Sunday and isolated showers continue into Monday. At this point the showers look unimpressive, but with all areas in Severe to Extreme drought in our region any rain is welcome.
Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!
