MEDFORD, Ore. — Lefty is 10 months old who is one of three kittens found under someone’s house. Lefty is quiet and shy, but he purrs quite a lot once he’s in a comfortable spot.

Lefty is a black cat, and CATS often finds that it’s more difficult to get black cats like Lefty adopted due to cultural superstitions. CATS is currently holding a special adoption deal for black cats: right now, they’re only $50.

Bruce is 13 weeks old and is actually pretty mellow for a puppy. He’s been trained to sit and walks really well on a leash. He’s already a heavy puppy, so he’s expected to grow into a big dog.
