Car Show Raises Money for Foster Parents

Bob Thomas Car ShowMEDFORD, Ore. — A local car show is raising money for Southern Oregon foster parents.

Nearly 100 cars and their owners, showed up at the Bob Thomas Automotive Show and Shine on Saturday.  The car show has been going on for several years now, and each year it chooses a charity to give back to.  This year all of the money raised will go to the Jackson County Foster Parents Association.

Car enthusiasts said they enjoy coming to the car show for the social aspect, and to mingle with others who share their interest.

“All kinds of cars, Chevys, Fords, dodges, you name it it’s here, a lot of good people, a lot of fun,” said Bob Thomas, the Owner of Bob Thomas Automotive.

Last year the charity event raised close to $10,000, and this year officials are hoping to raise even more.
