Car Crash in Nevada Claims Oregon Lives

CrashRENO, Nev. — A Southern Oregon family was involved in a fatal car crash when the 16-year-old daughter lost control, over corrected and rolled into the Nevada desert.

The May family from Eagle Point was driving on SR 140 when their teen daughter lost control. The father, Kendall May was killed despite wearing a seat belt.

Nevada Highway Patrol says his wife, Rebecca, may had her seat belt on incorrectly because she was ejected from the SUV and killed. Their 19-year-old daughter and 16-year-old daughter were taken by helicopter to a Reno hospital with serious injuries.
