First Friday Concerts: Quadrophonic – Space as Metaphor
Beginning Friday, August 1, Todd Barton and Bruce Bayard, performing as the duet Control Voltage Therapy, present a series of concerts every First Friday Schneider Museum of Art. Featuring two Buchla Easel electronic music instruments, and a quadraphonic sound system, Barton and Bayard explore “Space as Metaphor.” The concerts are every First Friday, August through December beginning at 11am. Some months will have special guests to be announced. The performances are free and open to the public.

Celebrate Recovery Meeting EVERY Friday at 6pm at 1760 East Main St. Ashland OR, 97520, Ashland Gracepoint Church! Please come and check us out and get freedom from your Hurts, Habits and Hang-Ups! We fellowship with Snacks, Coffee, Soda, Water, sing 3-4 songs and alternate between a lesson and a live testimony, break off into groups(Men with Men, Women with Women) and then fellowship again at the end. Fountainview Academy Concerts, December 14th and 15th.
Back by popular demand, a Christmas community concert event featuring the Fountainview Academy Orchestra and Singers will take place Sunday, December 14th, and Monday, December 15th, at the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1360 NE Ninth Street, Grants Pass. Two concerts are scheduled each evening: 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm. The concerts are being presented as a holiday gift by Better Life Broadcasting Network.
The internationally-acclaimed Canadian youth orchestra has toured Western & Eastern Europe, Central and North America, and has been broadcast internationally on Three Angels Broadcasting Network. They have released numerous professional albums and DVD recordings, many of them have been filmed in national parks and spectacular historical settings overseas. This will be Fountainview’s only performances in Oregon this year.
The concert is free and is enjoyed by people of all ages and faiths. Visitors from all over Oregon are expected for this event. Tickets are required and are available exclusively at any branch of Evergreen Federal Bank, who have generously assisted with underwriting. Seating is limited and available on a first-come basis. Every Friday night, Tina Ferris and Rush Benke start beginners lesson at 7:00. Dances include: WALTZ, FOXTROT, RUMBA, CHA CHA, SWING AND MORE. Mixer and open dance starts at 8:00 ends at 10:00. All are welcome. Young or old, married or single, novice dancer or avid dancer, there is room or everyone. Fun, safe, alcohol free atmosphere – under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
