Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick? Free Movie Screening
A new Regional Health Equity Coalition, SO Health-E, is hosting a free screening of the documentary Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick? to look at the impacts of social and economic inequities in America. We will examine why where you live can affect how long you live? Following the screening attendees will share and discuss health care in Southern Oregon and what needs to change.
The movie is split into 4 sessions (June 26, July 17, July 31, and August 14 – in English) and (June 27, July 11, July 25, August 8 – in Spanish).

HIGS GYM is hosting an obstacle sprint course for both beginner and elite athletes. The course is a great combination of Ninja Warrior and Wipe Out. There are novice and elite divisions and it is open to the public and spectators. The event will take place at Higinbotham Farms in Central Point!!

FREE COOKING CLASS! Class includes recipes as well as samples of each item prepared. Classes are FREE, however, we ask you bring a donation of non-perishable food for the community food bank. Please enter our Teaching Kitchen from the door facing the Public Parking Lot on the corner of 5th and H Street. Space is limited, reservations are required.
