Throughout December, costumed docents share the origins of popular Christmas traditions and Beekman family holiday festivities in the late 1800s.  Find the good luck German pickle ornament on the Christmas tree; sing a Christmas carol; steal a kiss under the mistletoe; hear about presents the Beekman’s exchanged; AND be sure to sample one of Mrs. Beekman’s sugar cookies! Plus, during the first three weekends we’re hosting Mrs. Beekman’s Christmas Bazaar. Surprise your family and friends with a unique gift. So much to choose from – old-fashioned toys, crafts, collectibles, holiday items, popular Victorian era gifts and much more, thanks to generous community donors.
