We fellowship with Snacks, Coffee, Soda, Water, sing 3-4 songs and alternate between a lesson and a live testimony, break off into groups(Men with Men, Women with Women) and then fellowship again at the end. Recent Studies in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument
Want to know more about what makes the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument one of the most biologically diverse areas in North America? Now is your opportunity.
You’re invited to attend a community Research Forum hosted by the Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. Learn about recently conducted fieldwork within the Monument from botanists Henry Whitridge and Mason Landon; geologist Jad D’Allura; ecologist Dennis Odion; biologist Michael Parker and environmental education student Peter Kleinhenz. Research topics include interpreting geological field notes, grazing impacts on the natural landscape, native plant seed collecting, wildfire regimes, endangered status-update of Oregon Spotted Frog, and teaching K-12 environmental education.
Every Friday night, Tina Ferris and Rush Benke start beginners lesson at 7:00. Dances include: WALTZ, FOXTROT, RUMBA, CHA CHA, SWING AND MORE. Mixer and open dance starts at 8:00 ends at 10:00. All are welcome. Young or old, married or single, novice dancer or avid dancer, there is room or everyone. Fun, safe, alcohol free atmosphere – under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
