Bystander Puts Fire Out in Grants Pass

An eyewitness reported a small fire in the external stairs which lead to the second floor apartment. The bystander quickly grabbed a garden hose to put the fire out before it was able to spread to the main structure of the building.

Nobody was injured and the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety would like to thank the reporting citizen for the quick action taken to prevent the fire from spreading. They also urge anyone who may have information to contact the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety at (541) 450-6260.
