Buttons Being Sold for Fireworks Show

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Another organization is stepping up to bring fireworks back to Grants Pass this 4th of July and it is asking for the public’s help.

The Grants Pass and Josephine County Chamber of Commerce is selling buttons to help fund this year’s event.

The fireworks show has been run by the Lions Club and the Grants Pass Active Club in recent years, but funding and scheduling issues cancelled the fireworks shows last year and 2010.

The chamber says the show an important yearly tradition, and it wants to help it continue.

Do what Eagle Point does. They get sponsers form local businesses. It provides the business with some advertising and allows one heck of show.
