MEDFORD, Ore. — Startup companies in the Rogue Valley have a chance to compete for a $200,000 investment.
The Southern Oregon Angel Investment Network is now accepting applications for its fourth annual conference this spring.
Businesses ready to launch can submit a business plan, and then pitch their idea to investors at the conference on April 30th. Organizers say the biggest advice they have for applicants is to keep things easy for investors to understand.
“Sometimes it’s surprisingly simple. A good executive summary that someone can actually read at a quick glance and understand what it is,” said Steve Vincent, with Angel Investment Network.
The deadline to turn in a business plan is February 28th. A link to the application for 2014 Southern Oregon Angel Investment Network Conference can be found here.
