Burn Case Airport Manager of Year

MEDFORD, Ore. – Rogue Valley Medford International Airport Manager Bern Case has been honored as the Airport Manager of the Year for all of Oregon.

Wednesday morning, Jackson County Commissioners presented with a plaque from the Oregon aviation management association, citing his accomplishments at the Medford Airport.

“His documented ability in securing grants and alternative revenue produced funding for numerous capital projects. Bern has given generously of his time and many talents to mentor other managers and promote professionalism within the field of airport management,” said Jackson County Commissioner Don Skundrick

“Airport management is a team sport and I wouldn’t have this award it it wasn’t for the tremendous team we have at the Rogue Valley International Airport,” said Case.

Case will have been airport manager for 19 years this coming January. In addition to getting a new terminal built recently, Case is also overseeing a new solar panel project to help make the airport more energy independent.
