Britt Festival Numbers Are In For 2012

JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — The Britt Festival season is over, and organizers say their success has them looking forward to next year. Festival officials say this year’s concert series met their goals, including ticket sales.

Average attendance for the shows was higher than the festival saw in 2011, even with 3 fewer shows this season. Organizers say some of the credit comes from a more diverse number of acts than in years past, which helped bring in more visitors.
