MEDFORD, Ore. — With a month to go before this year’s Britt Festival gets underway ticket sales are already up from last year.
Thursday morning, nearly 100 people lined up at the box office as ticket sales opened to the general public. The first people in line set up camp around 5 a.m.
Britt Festival’s executive director, Donna Briggs, says some of the most popular shows this year include the Steve Miller Band, Dooby Brothers, Michael Franti and Cyndi Lauper who will kick off the season next month.
The executive director says the diverse line-up is responsible for a strong start to sales.
“We have a broad audience, and we want to satisfy the valley, there’s lots of diverse taste out there,” said Briggs
Right now, the reserved seating for the Steve Miller Band is sold out.
