MEDFORD, Ore. — A man convicted of killing his wife was back to court this week.
Bourne Huddleston was re-sentenced for the murder of his wife Kristy Huddleston as part of plea deal which eliminates prison time for Huddleston’s sister for her role in plotting to kill a star witness.
Huddleston also waved any rights to Kristy’s $800,000 estate, which will now go to the couple’s 10-year-old son.
Huddleston’s new sentence is essentially a life sentence, with a parole option at 101 years of age. His sister will serve 5 years on probation back in her home state of Florida.
