Bombing Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

ALAN MCVAY BOMBERMEDFORD, Ore. — Alan Leroy McVay was arraigned in U.S. District Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to two counts of malicious destruction of property by explosion.

46-year-old McVay is accused of setting off a bomb outside the D.A. Office building back in November. The bomb was set off in the early morning hours of November 13th, breaking a window and damaging part of the building. McVay was arrested a week later after police received a tip alleging his involvement.

His jury trial is set for February 11, 2014 with a status conference on January 21, 2014.
