Bomb Threat to Medford City Hall

Police Investigate HomicideMEDFORD, Ore. – Medford Police report the Medford City Hall was evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a bomb threat. Police said no device was found.

Medford Police say at about 1:25 p.m., Medford Municipal Court received a phone call stating there was a bomb in the court room, which was set to detonate at 2:00 p.m.

Police say City Hall employees were evacuated while police searched the premises. They did not find any device.

Once the scene was deemed safe, employees were allowed back inside and business resumed as normal. Medford Police are trying to identify the unknown caller. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Medford Police Department at 541-770-4783.
