Bomb Threat Suspect Pleads Guilty

CLEVELAND, Ohio — An Ohio man admitted to calling bomb threats into Southern Oregon building

He pleaded guilty to making more than 100 threats by phone to courthouses and public buildings in five states. Court houses in Oregon were evacuated when a threat was made last year.

Lonny Bristow will spend 51 months in prison. The FBI says it traced several of the threats to pre-paid phone cards purchased at a Walmart 40 miles from the 39-year-olds home.

It’s not entirely clear on why he made the threats to buildings in Oregon, Washington, Nebraska, Tennessee and Mississippi.
