PORTLAND, Ore. — Whitney Heichel’s body was found on Larch Mountain on Friday. Gresham Police announced they have arrested and charged a man with the 21-year-old’s murder.
Police revealed in a press conference late Friday night that Jonathan Daniel Holt lived in the same apartment complex as Whitney and her husband. Holt was apparently an acquaintance of the couple.
Whitney Heichel vanished on her way to work Tuesday morning. Investigators say tips, cell phone records, and Holt’s inconsistent stories led to his arrest and the charge of aggravated murder.
