A cooler and dry day is expected through Monday. A weaker disturbance will move in by tomorrow, and bring cloud cover and light rain showers to the region. This system will also bring in another cooler air mass. High temperatures in the valleys will only be warming into the low 70’s Tuesday.
Weak ridging builds in for the middle of the week, bringing sun and warming temperatures by Thursday back to average. Come Friday though, the first significant rain event of the season will be moving inland. This storm will be capable of bringing heavy rain to the Coastline and higher terrain, and widespread rain showers to all inland areas. Afternoon highs are going to drop well below average by Saturday.
