Another very cold but tranquil night is unfolding. Morning lows are expected to drop into the upper 20’s and low to mid 30’s across the forecast area. Frost advisories are in place for Medford, Grants Pass, Rogue River, Gold Hill, Butte Falls, Etna, Fort Jones and Weed while a freeze warning is in effect for Cave Junction, Jacksonville, Ashland, Eagle Point, Shady Cove, Phoenix, White City, Yreka and Montague through Saturday morning.
The weekend though, is shaping up very nicely. Temperatures will be warming under sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday. An offshore wind will still warm up the Coastline into Saturday and slowly weaken by Sunday.
Our next chance for wet weather will arrive Monday as an area of low pressure moves across the region Monday and Tuesday. This will bring rain showers to the Coast and light and isolated showers to inland areas. By next week, temperatures will bounce back to below normal yet again.
