Saturday was absolutely gorgeous and Sunday is going to be even better! Temperatures will be a good five degrees warmer in many places and the sun will continue to shine. Patchy fog is possible Saturday evening in the Valley and further inland along the Coast, but it will burn off quickly after sunrise.
Sunny skies will start off our work week as the same high pressure air mass continues to sit over our region. Some high clouds will move in Monday as a storm passes by through Washington, but all areas will stay dry regardless. By Tuesday I think this storm will bring some showers South along the Coast, and possibly in the Basin, but the Valley & Siskiyou County should stay dry. These showers will be very light and scattered. Wednesday looks to be dry but yet again some more disturbances pass by to our north Thursday & Friday.
The last time this pattern occurred, the storms eventually made their way south bringing some moisture to our region, but this was only visible on the models a day or so prior. I am thinking that these systems will push further South than the weather charts are currently showing, but for now I am going to go with a dry forecast for much of the week further inland with some very few showers developing along the Coast towards the end of the week.
