CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Battle of the Bones went out with a bang Sunday with barbecue, craft beer, wine, live music, free kids activities, rib eating competitions and more.
The third day of the event took place at Twin Creeks Park. One barbecue judge said this event ranks in the top three best competitions in the nation.
All proceeds from Battle of the Bones benefit the Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation. This year will be used towards building a new gazebo at Don Jones Memorial Park, in addition to funding scholarships for children.
