CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Barbecue buffs competed for the People’s Vote Saturday at Battle of the Bones. Hundreds tasted craft beer, wine, listened to live music and ate barbecue.
The event took place at Twin Creeks Park. Organizers hope the wet weather in Sunday’s forecast doesn’t push too many people away from attending.
All proceeds from Battle of the Bones benefit the Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation. This year will be used towards building a new gazebo at Don Jones Memorial Park, in addition to funding scholarships for children.
