Bank Robbery In Grants Pass

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Grants Pass Police are looking for a bank robber. Police say the robbery happened at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Umpqua Bank on Williams Highway.

Police say the suspect may have first gone into Key Bank, which is near the Umpqua Bank, but left without incident. The suspect the entered the Umpqua Bank, where he went around the counter and approached a teller demanding money. The suspect then fled west bound through the alley behind Safeway with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was mentioned or displayed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, thin mustache, dark hair, early 40’s, dirty hands, wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. If anyone has information please contact Grants Pass police detectives at 541-450-6260.
