Chris Leone joined the NewsWatch 12 team as the Sports Director in October of 2010. Chris grew up in the Northeast and graduated from Syracuse University in 2008 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After college, he spent two years as the Weekend Sports Anchor at KEVN in Rapid City, South Dakota. In his time both at SU and in Rapid City, Chris covered everything from Division I basketball to minor league hockey and rodeo. When he’s not at work, Chris enjoys playing tennis and watching college football and basketball.

Owls Beat SOU for Tourney Title

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The Oregon Tech women earned a spot in the NAIA National Tournament, beating SOU 88-72 on Monday night. The victory was the first ever Cascade Conference Tournament Championship for the Owls.

SOU Men, OIT Women Win

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech met up for the final time of the regular season on Saturday. The SOU men narrowly beat the Owls 69-67 while the Oregon Tech women dominated the Raiders 87-54. Check out the highlights from both games above.
