Ashland Police Investigate Heroin Deaths

ASHLAND, Ore. — Ashland Police are investigating two suspected heroin overdoes that have been reported over the past two nights. Police said the first drug overdose occurred December 3rd in the 700 block of North Laurel Street, where a 36-year-old white man was found dead of a suspected heroin overdose.

The second drug overdose was reported on December 4th in the 2400 block of Siskiyou Blvd., where a 34-year-old white man was also found dead from a suspected heroin overdose. That reported case makes it the third suspected heroin overdose this year, according to the Ashland Police Department. Police said the City of Ashland had one suspected heroin overdose in 2011 and one suspected heroin overdose in 2010.
