Ashland Parks Weighs in on New “Calle”

ASHLAND, Ore. — Calle Guanajuato, also known as “The Calle”  that runs behind Ashland plaza, was closed for months for renovations and is now days from opening to the public.

Starting in December 2013, Ashland Parks and Recreation Department began installing new water and electric lines. This week the final paver stones will be placed, and a grand opening of the road is set for this weekend. NewsWatch12′s Kirstin O’Connor spoke with the Director of Ashland Parks and Recreation, Don Robertson, about what the $400,000 finished project will do for the city.
