ASHLAND, Ore. — Through the thick fog and snow flurries, riders from all over competed in the the Ashland Mountain Challenge on Saturday morning. The competitors worked right up until race time making adjustments to their bike, which brought big business to Siskiyou Cyclerly Inc.
“Yesterday, was madness man,” said Jeff Rubin, of Siskiyou Cyclerly Inc. “We were non stop from ten o’clock in the morning to six o’clock at night. Actually I didn’t get out of here until 6:30 p.m.”
The races will wrap up Sunday, but Jeff doesn’t expect sales to be down-hill from here.
“This is where the season begins, and it starts off with a bang with this race, and continues the rest of the summer,” Rubin said.
