ASHLAND, Ore. — The Ashland Independent Film Festival getting ready to kick off it’s 13th annual film festival. The festival will begin on Thursday at noon and runs through Monday night.
At this year’s festival they will show more than 100 films in and presentations in 9 theaters. Those films include narratives, documentaries, and short independent films. Administrators for that event say one of the reasons it’s been so successful in the past, has been the Ashland viewers and the support of the community.
Some of the guests this year include modern family’s Ty Burrell, 2 time Oscar-winning documentarian Barbara Coppel, and documentary writer Mark Monroe.
