ASHLAND, Ore. — The next step in Ashland Community Hospital and Asante Health System merging together has begun after the Ashland City Council approved the letter of intent on Tuesday night.
The next step in the process is to develop a binding contractual agreement in the next 90 days. Officials for both Asante and Ashland Community Hospital say they are excited to work together and begin the next step.
“Just as the process for developing the letter of intent, we will work together as a team, all four parties to complete this definitive agreement that will then go before a vote before the city council in Ashland,” said Frank Faust with Asante
Officials say the hospital will act as a general hospital and will preserve as many jobs as possible or move staff to other Asante hospitals if necessary.

There was a short clip of Ashland hospital on last night (2/24) that I was in, was wondering if the footage was listed somewhere so I can watch it. Thanks
