Arrest Made in Public Sex Abuse Case

sex abuse arrestMEDFORD, Ore. — Medford police say a man may have sexually assaulted dozens of women in public over the past few years.

53-year-old David Reynolds is under arrest after making unwanted sexual contact with a woman in Target last month. Reynolds was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of third degree sex abuse, harassment, and failure to register as a sex offender. Police think Reynolds has done this before in grocery and department stores, and would claim the contact was accidental.

“He has actually done this, or similar behavior on previous occasions where he’ll make contact with people he will just run into or people out in public,” said Lt. Mike Bureau of Medford Police.

Police are asking anyone who may have had unwanted contact with Reynolds in the past to come forward with information.
