Armed Robbery at Mini Pet Mart

Police-Lights-22-250x169MEDFORD, Ore. — At 6:42 p.m. August 12th, Police responded to a armed robbery call at the Mini Pet Mart on Crater Lake Ave.

The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, and after a search of the area, the suspect was not found. After an investigation, police say that the suspect entered the business and approached the clerk with a knife having a curved blade. The suspect demanded money then fled on foot southbound with an undisclosed amount of cash. Another witness reported seeing the suspect running towards Wabash, cutting through a nearby business complex.

A description of the suspect is as follows: A thin white male adult, about 5’3″-5’4,” and wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask at the time of the incident. Police believe this robbery is related to two other unsolved robberies which occurred last month at the Subway on Crater Lake Ave. The weapon and clothing are consistent for all three robberies.
