A cold front draped across the Northwest is continuing to travel southbound. This is bringing isolated showers to the northern fringes of the forecast area, but the very few showers that remain are quickly falling apart.
Dry conditions will build in for the remainder of the day and also for the weekend. Offshore winds will bring breezy conditions this weekend to the ridges. This will also enhance the Chetco Effect and bring high temperatures into the mid 60’s at least for Curry County.
Beginning next week two storm systems will move into the Northwest bringing what look likes some good moisture to our area. Both of these storms are still not super impressive, but better than anything we’ve seen in a while.
Rain showers are expected in the lower elevations & snow showers for the higher elevations. As of now, this looks to be Monday through Wednesday.
