APPLEGATE, Ore. — Applegate Valley Days drew a crowd of about 600 people Saturday, despite some rain.
All of the festivities took place at Cantrall Buckley Park in Applegate. There were gold panning demonstrations, antique cars, and various vendors.
Organizers say the purpose of the event is to raise money to fully restore and improve the park. They hope to raise $100,000 this year. The event continues Sunday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. and tickets are $5.00.
