Antique Sale Benefits Organizations

MEDFORD, Ore. — Thousands filled the Medford Armory this weekend to check out specialty antique items.

The Southern Oregon Antiques and Collectibles Club organized the event. The proceeds go to the Jackson County Library System and the Medford City Parks Swim Program, among other organizations.

“We use that money in the Valley,” said organizer Marcia Brown.

More than 3,000 people shopped over the course of the weekend. Organizers say the event raises around $15,000 each year. In total, more than a quarter of a million books in the Jackson County Library System were bought with this funding, according to organizers.
