Angry Caller Threatens Store with Bomb

MEDFORD, Ore. — Police say around 10:25 a.m. Saturday an angry person called the Walmart in South Medford alleging he’d placed a bomb in the garden area of the store.

Medford Police responded and the store was evacuated. Officers say they searched the entirety of the property and found no such device. Police believe it was a hoax.

Walmart staff say the store is back to business as usual after being closed for about an hour.

Do they know who made the call?
Is there going to be an arrest?
