A cold front that moved through overnight Sunday into Monday has brought considerable rain to Southern Oregon. A couple inches of rain has fallen at the Coast and 1″+ on both the West & East Sides. Over Northern California measurable rain has been reported as well. Showers will develop behind this front mainly through the morning Monday.
By Monday afternoon, showers will begin to wind down and they’ll taper off in full tonight. Tuesday will mark the beginning of a drying and warming trend over the Northwest. The storm track will stay off to our north this week, allowing for plenty of sun to warm afternoon temperatures up. Highs this week will be between 7 & 15 degrees above normal.
West Side Valleys will be in the mid 70’s Saturday and Sunday, which look to be the warmest days of the week. The Klamath Basin & higher elevations will be climbing into the mid 50’s & 60’s.
