Alleged Ballot Fraud Case Moves Forward

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. – An Oregon woman, accused of tampering with ballots in this year’s election, has plead not guilty.

55-year-old Deanna Swenson, of Oregon City, is accused of filling in blank spaces on ballots in favor of republican candidates. A grand jury has indicted her on charges of altering a cast ballot, unlawfully voting more than once and official misconduct.

She apologized last Thursday from her lawyer’s office, saying a prescription drug she was taking clouded her thinking.
