A Few Showers then Sunny & Warm Again

video preview image

A weak front will slide through our area tonight bringing light isolated showers after midnight into Friday morning. Most activity will be along and west of the Cascades with only a slight chance elsewhere, and even some ares on the west side may stay dry. This weak disturbance will quickly exit the area bringing increasing sunshine Friday afternoon as high pressure returns for the weekend. Sunny, dry and unseasonably warm conditions will return this weekend with highs in the 70s for west side valleys and 60s for the east side and coast.

A slightly stronger front will bringing increasing showers overnight Sunday into Monday morning, but this system is still pretty weak and will mainly bring light showers to the region with drier conditions by Monday afternoon. High pressure returns again Tuesday and Wednesday with sunny and dry weather with another chance for showers on Thursday.

Thanks for logging on and have a great evening!

Earlier this week on the 7-day forecast map there were lots of days with bright yellow suns and no clouds. I have been observing “trails” from planes in the sky past two days and now those bright yellow suns on the maps have clouds included. Has cloud seeding been occurring?
