A weak cold front will bring a slight chance for showers overnight Thursday into early Friday morning with any shower activity light and isolated. The best chance for showers will be at the coast and Cascades then we return to a dry pattern by the weekend again. As we head into next week there is a better chance for widespread showers arriving late Monday through much of the week. However, ridging may strengthen enough to keep the storm track to the north and keep us dry. We will continue to monitor the chance for showers into next week though at this time any shower activity does not look like the heavy rain we need, though if we see several days in a row of showers that will help our drought conditions.
Thanks for logging on and I hope you had a Happy New Year!
