Today a disturbance will brush by to our north. This is going to bring cloud cover to the region, but overall conditions will stay fairly quiet with most of the shower activity remaining north of the Umpqua. Partly cloudy skies are expect West of the Cascades and along the Coastline today with mostly sunny skies on the East Side and over Siskiyou County.
Once the sun sets this evening temperatures will drop quickly. The good news is of course, the dry weather expected for those heading out for trick-or-treat. Friday will be the last day of mild afternoons and quiet weather. Beginning Saturday the storm door swings open as the storm track inches further south.
The first of several systems will move inland Saturday. This will bring clouds, valley rain and mountain snow, as well as breezy conditions. Showers will continue Sunday, and several more systems will follow into early next week.
