High pressure will continue to bring abundant sunshine to inland areas today and the warmest days of the year so far! At the coast we’ll continue to see onshore flow meaning marine layer stratus again today, with some afternoon sunshine but cool temperatures. A cold front passing this weekend will bring breezy conditions late tomorrow and a few more clouds inland, but still mostly sunny. Temperatures will start to cool Sunday through Tuesday with Tuesday the coolest day of the next several, but still unseasonably warm.
Could see some showers with the passing of a second front on Monday, mainly in our northern areas including Curry and Douglas counties into the Umpqua, any showers will be light. For areas further south just expect more clouds and breezy conditions.
This “cool” trend is short-lived as high pressure builds in strong again on Tuesday and temperatures rebound quickly back to 10 to almost 20 degrees above normal as we head into midweek with abundant sunshine across the area, and yes that means the coast too.
