8th Annual “DQ Miracle Treat Day”

dqMEDFORD, Ore. — A stop at a Southern Oregon Dairy Queen on Thursday could benefit kids needing medical treatments.

Thursday is the 8th Annual “DQ Miracle Treat Day”. One dollar from blizzard purchases goes to the local Children’s Medical Network Hospital and Asante.

Last year Dairy Queens across the United States raised nearly $5 million. The Medford Dairy Queen says they raised $1,000 last year, and hope to beat that goal this year.

“You know there’s people out there that need like really expensive surgery or they need treatment done to them and this goes to help them where it’s just their families don’t have to worry about it,” said Dairy Queen Employee Andrew Derose.

The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raise money for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.
