5 Suspects Charged in Mail Theft

MEDFORD, Ore. – On Friday, a federal grand jury indicted 5 Medford residents on aggravated identity theft, bank fraud, mail fraud, and conspiracy to commit mail theft.

Investigators say 800 people in the Medford area are victims of the 5 suspects. The crimes happened from September 2012 through last month.

Eduardo Navarro and Dallas Tedford are currently in custody. Arrest warrants have been issued for Robert Powelson, Kayla Strange, and Lana Marshall.

If convicted, the sentences range from maximum sentences of 2 to 30 years in prison. The U.S. Attorney’s Office is working with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Medford Police Department.
