Temperatures Turn Hot Next Week

video preview image

A weak front passed over Southern Oregon, but no precipitation, dry lightning or significant wind was reported.  Over the next couple of days, the reasonably good air quality will likely become more concentrated with smoke from area fires.

Temperatures will turn hot Sunday and Monday…reaching the upper 90′s…with lots of hazy or “smoky” sunshine.  A storm system near the San Francisco Coastline will track north to northeast, and though uncertain at the time the exact location it will hit, some showers and thunderstorms will develop in Northern California by Tuesday and over Southern Oregon on Wednesday and Thursday.
